Ubermosh is like a drug - you'll always be chasing a better high (score). The pumping soundtrack serves to put you in a trance, to better slay all before you. It's a fantastic way to get a quick and satisfying rush. Read more and check our gameplay video below.
Your aim is to get as many kills as you can in 90 seconds. You do this by shooting and deflecting projectiles back with your sword. You move with WSAD and attack and aim with the mouse but a controller is supported as well. It feels a lot like Hotline Miami but with less emphasis on doors and planning. It's simple and it works.
Different game modes give you various restrictions and benefits. Kensai only lets you use the sword but gives you 6 lives. Gunner gives you full auto, 3 lives and no sword. Warlock gives you the best gun from the start but only 2 lives. No class mode places no restrictions and provides 4 lives. Each mode is only slightly different but it makes a significant change to the way you'll go about playing.
If I had to be critical about anything it would be that it does get a little tedious after a while though the low price still makes it worthwhile. The developer is really cool in that he has continually supported the game and even added a free music track to it.
Recently a new version of the game, Ubermosh Black, was released as a standalone product in response to the demands for a more hardcore game. The dev decided a new release would be a better way to preserve the balance of the original while giving the extra challenge to those who seek it.
I've yet to play that game but as it stands now, I highly recommend the original Ubermosh.

Great soundtrack

Gets a little tedious, especially after acquiring the achievements
