Genmu Senki Leda - Asagiri Yohko Figurine Review

Here's a quick figurine review of Yohko from Leda: The Fantastic Adventure of Yohko which was recently reviewed.

I have no idea why a figurine based on such an old anime is being released now but as a fan of old
school anime and bikini armour, I'm not complaining.

Her bikini bottom is made from a less glossy material than her top.
I quite like this one. It depicts Yohko with her fiery red hair and blue armour holding a sword. The contrast between the red and blue is great and her shapely body is well sculpted. It's a little tricky to place the sword in her hands properly without jacking up the whole figurine.

Her face is quite interesting. It doesn't quite have that sharp, aggressive late 80s look. In some ways it seems more influenced by the trendy moeblob style but not quite as bad! It looks like they went for a more relaxed expression on her face and I think it works.

This is a quality figurine and harks back to the days when strong heroines didn't need to have bloated breasts. It's a refreshing, colourful splash of retro awesome.
