Astral Chain Collector's Edition Unboxing

A quick and dirty unboxing for Astral Chain

Platinum have released another great game for Nintendo hardware. Here's a look at the contents of the Collector's Edition. It comes with:

Game card 
Shikishi art board with an illustration by Mazakazu Katsura, 
An ASTRAL CHAIN Sound Selection CD and 
A 152-page artbook

The box has a plastic sleeve with the Nintendo logos, age restriction and game info. This slides off.

The game box then slides to either side, to reveal layers of goodies. Starting with the art board. It also has a unit number. It appears this run is limited to 23,010 copies. It's nice to see a "limited" version game, actually state how many units were made.

Once you life the art board up, the game card box and CD case is revealed.

Lifting the entire red tray up reveals the artbook. There was a spoiler warning for the art on the first page, so I just snapped a couple of the opening pages before closing it. I am yet to play the game! The artbook is softcover and the print quality appears to be good.

This seems like a decent package for the price but it appears to be selling fast and it is being resold with a markup.
