The box is rather nice, with a smooth, matte finish. The figure itself is securely packed. I'm posting the box so you can get any idea of how the figure can be posed (according to the manufacturer).
So I tried to pose it like the fixed Samus Other M Figurine and did not have the easiest time doing it. Figma posing is an art and one that I am not good at! The figure feels rather light and delicate and attaching her pistol was difficult. The fringe part of her hair tended to slip off easily. I think I contorted her right arm incorrectly as well. Her hips do have a joint that allow it to be moved up and down.
Not creepy at all. |
There are a number of different hands, as well as a different facial expression, helmet and hairstyle. The hairstyle is from her iconic appearance in the beloved Metroid: Other M game.
I did a quick size comparison. Naturally this Zero Suit Figma should be credibly sized when compared to the Varia Suit Figma. It's close enough but let's not get too caught up when talking about a character who can roll up into a ball.
This Figma took a while to pose and it felt fiddly and fragile. To be fair though, the customisation and detail is excellent. It just depends on how much time and how well you can pose her without causing damage. The Varia Suit Figma was easier to pose because it was bigger and had more heft to it. If you're a Metroid fan, or just want a cool piece to add to your collection, then buy this. It's worth it.
