It's been a few years
since we've seen a good Mai Shiranui figurine. The release of the
excellent King of Fighters XIII a couple years back makes this an excellent time for this to be
rectified.
When I think of Mai, I
picture her in her default, red costume. This particular figurine however, has
her in her black outfit which is rather fetching.
Her creamy white skin
contrasts vividly with the dark black kimono and the gold piping finishes everything off perfectly. Speaking of which, the skin tone is great. The milky white is
delicately accented with shades of caramel which looks quite
delicious.
The sculpting is also
masterfully executed and manages to capture Mai's outrageous curves very well. Her face
bears a reserved yet slightly playful expression. This is overall an
excellent figurine and is highly recommended.
